Lina Lee

Lina Lee is the Executive Director of the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA), where she leads initiatives to support the legal profession, advance justice, and foster a diverse and inclusive legal community. She brings extensive leadership experience in nonprofit management, policy advocacy, and legal services. Prior to joining the CBA, Lina was the Founder and Executive Director of Communities Resist, a legal services organization dedicated to housing justice in New York City. Under her leadership, the organization provided high-impact legal representation to over 4,000 community members and became a leading force in tenant advocacy and civil rights litigation.

Lina has been recognized for her contributions to public interest law, including being named to City & State New York’s Nonprofit Power 100 and PoliticsNY’s AAPI Power Players. She is licensed to practice law in New York and admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York. In addition to her professional work, Lina is deeply committed to pro bono service and legal community engagement. She serves as Chair of the Pro Bono and Community Service Committee of the Asian American Bar Association of New York (AABANY) and is a board member of several nonprofit and legal organizations.

Lina holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. She is passionate about empowering nonprofit leaders and legal professionals to drive meaningful change through strategic governance, advocacy, and community engagement.
